It appears lots of babies are due this spring...(judging from the enquiries about baby knitting projects.) So we will start February with a baby blanket class. This lovely has a little lace to make it interesting, but not too fussy. The sample was knitted in Cascade 220 Superwash . All four of these project classes are Saturdays @ 10am through February at THE NEST. We definitely are thinking , "Let's keep warm", with our February classes. The next project would make my 9th grade geometry teacher proud---THE GEOMETRY SCARF. It's a fun mitered knit scarf made with subtle a self-striping yarn, Cascade ECO DUO. The February 16th Project will bring out the cowgirl in everyone--THE COWBOY Cowl. Mine is made with 1 skein of Madeline Tosh Pashmina, so soft and warm, just love that yarn! The pattern is from Pam Powers. Surprisingly it buttons up the back of the cowl, therefore it's knitted flat not circular. Our last project for Saturdays in February is the Splendid Striped Cowl. (available FREE on Ravelry.com). It's also knitted flat with two alternating colors for stripes. Learn to carry yarn up the side of your work in this flattering cowl. Stay warm inside and out . Shower the people you love with love...It's February!
